Grondin celebrates home win – Visintin out early

At the Boardercross World Cup in Mont Sainte-Anne (Canada), Omar Visintin didn't make it past the round of 16. Local hero Eliot Grondin took the win.

Overall World Cup winner Eliot Grondin celebrated a home win in Mont Sainte-Anne in Canada ahead of Australian Cameron Bolton and Czech Radek Houser. For Omar Visintin it was already over in the round of 20, which meant XNUMXth place for the South Tyrolean. The best Azzurro was Tommaso Leoni, who made it to the quarter-finals.


In the women's category, Charlotte Bankes from Great Britain won ahead of Chloe Trespeuch (France) and Lea Casta (France). Michela Moioli was the best Azzurra in 6th place. Trespuech won the overall women's ranking with 742 points ahead of Bankes (657 points).

Another race follows on Sunday (17.00 p.m.).
