The Luge World Cup is taking place on the artificial track in Oberhof for the 24th time this weekend. The first title went to the Germans Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken in the doubles on Saturday morning. They laid the foundation for success in the first run when they not only set a new star best time, but also set a new track record.
