Val Gardena already has the pre-playoffs in the bag. But behind it all is exciting. Even defending champion Jesenice has to tremble again - after two defeats in a row. The Slovenians meet on Thursday Merano, which is the first pursuer of Jesenice (2nd) in Group A of the Qualification Round. If the Kurstadters want to get on the playoff bandwagon, then they need a win on Thursday in the MeranArena, because Celje is also still involved. The Slovenians currently have one point less than Merano. At the end of the regular season, the Eagles will face Val Gardena on Saturday.
It's exciting for them too Underland Cavaliers, who face Fassa on Thursday. Fassa is at the bottom of Group B in the Qualification Round and has only had two wins. Nevertheless, caution is advised. Ideally, Unterland can celebrate making it into the pre-playoffs on Thursday. If Kitzbühel wins against pursuers Lustenau and the Cavaliers do their homework against Fassa (i.e. a win), then the cake is eaten.

The Alps Week is opened by ride and Cortina. The South Tyroleans are leaders in the Master Round and can secure overall victory on Tuesday evening (20 p.m.) in Klobenstein. The lead over Cortina is currently 8 points. By the way: The game is a catch-up game from January. It couldn't be held at that time because Ritten and Cortina faced each other in the fight for the Scudetto. Finally, on Saturday there will be a “delicacy” in the Master Round between Vipiteno and Ritten. All Alps games with South Tyrolean participation this week
