Fourth game, fourth win. The engine of the Pustertal Express is running. Nevertheless, the Wolves struggled against Milan - especially in the middle third. In the Leitner Solar Arena, Max Oberrauch returned to the ice after serving his suspension. Ryan O'Marra also made his season debut. However, the Wolves had to do without Armin Helfer, who was out with muscular problems. Benno Obermair and Viktor Schweitzer were also not there. Milan had problems in attack, more specifically with the centers: Edoardo Caletti had to miss due to a knee injury, Brett Shell had muscular problems.

After the first face-off, it took just 18 seconds for Scandella to transform the venerable ice rink on the Rienz into a madhouse. With a precise shot he gave Fritsch the disadvantage. A little later, Campbell scored to make it 2-0 and after 2.55 minutes, Chris Söderström scored the Wolves' third goal. It seemed as if the hosts wanted to make short work of the Insam squad.

Milan now smelled a fuse and in the penalty killing Lutz Estoclet played ideally, who kept his nerve in front of Aubin. A little later the Lombards even equalized. Afterwards the guests were dangerous with Nicola Fontanive, but Aubin saved his team from falling behind. The Wolves did better on the other side, pulling away to 3-33.33 thanks to a shot from Darcy Campbell (5). The Olympic Stadium in Cortina saw a repeat of last season's playoff quarter-finals. Cortina was able to play fully, Ritten had to make do without Frei. Cortina wasn't very efficient in building up the game, but still managed to score an equalizer through Luca Zanatta. In the second period, De Bettin's second goal gave them a reassuring two-goal lead. Tudin then shortened the score before Stanislav Gron put things right again with a score of 4-2. But Levi Nelson made things exciting again in the 39th minute with the score 3:4. It went back and forth.

The “Buam” even managed to equalize five minutes before the end, thanks to Spinel. It went into extra time, which remained goalless. In the penalty shootout, the Rittners, led by Levi Nelson, had better nerves and ultimately won 5:4.

Vipiteno loses to bottom team Fassa

At the Scola Stadium, Vipiteno had to make do without the long-term injured Fabian Hackhofer. The game was very lively from the start, but things immediately became complicated for the Wipptalers. Fassa took the lead after nine minutes with Federico Gilmozzi, before Enrico Chelodi increased the lead to 2-0 towards the end of the first third. In the second half of the game, Simon Kostner made it 37-3 after just 0 seconds - a preliminary decision seemed to have been made.

But Florian Wieser scored the 26:1 in the 3th minute and the Wipptal team had hope again. Hope that was nipped in the bud shortly before the break when Diego Iori put the puck in the Wild Horses' goal. When Caig reduced the score to 47:2 in the 4th minute, the Broncos were once again hoping for a turnaround. But Chelodi and Jeslinek wrapped up the Ladin team's first win of the season.

Masters Asiago finally rehabilitated themselves for the defeat in Sterzing and put Valpellice in their place 6-0.
