Elite.A: Pustertal new league leader

In the fourth duel of the season against Vipiteno, HC Pustertal celebrated its fourth win. The Wolves won 3-2 after a penalty shootout and took the lead in the table. Sterzing, on the other hand, is still in crisis and suffered its tenth defeat in a row. Coach Zdenek Travnicek again had to make do without Canadian newcomer Justin Taylor; Dominik Steinman played in goal because Jonny Millykoski was unwell. David Ling, Thomas Erlacher, Lukas Tauber and Dennis McCauley were missing from the home team, but Scandella returned to the team. Ritten loses game and league lead in Torre Pellice

The “Wolves” benefit from Rittner’s slip-up in Torre Pellice. Tomko was missing from the home team, Rob Wilson had to make do without the injured Alex Tauferer, the suspended Lorenz Daccordo and goalkeeper Chris Mason, who is contesting the Spengler Cup in Davos with Team Canada. There was a surprise in Milan, where bottom team Fassa won with 2:4 goals and celebrated their fourth championship victory. Champions Asiago, on the other hand, swept old champions Cortina off the ice with 6-0 goals and with this victory overtook the Rittner in the table.
