INL: Playoffs are a long way off for Meran - Kaltern wins

Kaltern was literally forced to win in the home game against the latecomers from Slovenia. The Überetscher met the demands from the start and took the lead through Alex Andergassen. After a goalless middle third, Kaltern increased the speed again and steadily increased the lead through Raphael Andergassen and Lorenz Röggl. Matic Koren's goal gave the guests hope again ten minutes before the end, but in the final seconds Pontus Moren made the final score 4-1 with an empty-net goal.

Meran breaks into Feldkirch

The HCM was only able to hold off its neighbors Feldirch away from home in the first 14 minutes of the game before Diethard Winzig and Maxim Abaev each scored a 2-0 lead for the home team in the power play. Winzig made another big appearance in the second third and netted three more times in a row. After conceding the fifth goal, Commisso made way for Quagliato in the Merano goal. He then had to accept two more goals. David Laliberte from Meran only scored the consolation goal to make it 1:7

INL: Playoffs are a long way off for Meran - Kaltern wins

Saturday evening in the INL was all about the two relegation rounds. The players from Kaltern and Merano experienced this with very different feelings: While the Hechte defeated Maribor, the Adler had to admit defeat to Feldkirch.
