A strong first third was enough for HC Südtirol Bank Eppan to secure an unchallenged 4-0 away win in Celje. Veggiato, Tobias (2) and Fabian Ebner scored the four goals in the first 20 minutes and then comfortably rocked the thing home. The Überetscher, who climbed to third place in the table thanks to the win, saved their energy for Sunday's match in Maribor, where the next three points will come from.

Speaking of Maribor: The Slovenians lost 2-4 against Eppan's neighbors from Kaltern on Saturday. Lorenz Röggl put the Hechte on the road to victory in the final phase of the game. Two and a half minutes before the end he scored to make it 3-2, before finally sealing the deal ten seconds before the siren with the 4-2 into the empty net. The people of Kaltern have gained one place in the ranking and are now in ninth place.

HC Neumarkt Riwega, on the other hand, put Laibach in its place with 5:1. In this one-sided game, Bustreo, Peiti, Sullmann and Dorigatti (2) got on the scoresheet. Neumarkt remains in sixth place in the INL classification, two lengths behind Val Gardena.
