The referee who (doesn't) whistle for South Tyrol

Christoph Schiefer from St. Leonhard in Passeier is one of the most successful referees in this country. The players don't dance to his tune in South Tyrol, but in Austria, where he has been working as a referee for years. Last weekend he refereed a Werder Bremen friendly in Zillertal and met Simon Strudi there. We took advantage of the opportunity and had a conversation with Schiefer about his unusual path, encounters with Jogi Löw and a certain Thomas Müller alias Mr. Mayer.
