In the national cup - in which, as is well known, all teams from the upper league to the 3rd amateur league play - there is a quite surprising constellation in the quarter-finals. The top eight of the competition include teams from the Oberliga to the 2nd Amateur League.

Bozner FC and St. Georgen are still represented in the highest regional league. The Talferstädter have to go to Sexten on Wednesday, April 17th, where the local 2nd amateur league team is waiting. Curious: Sexten is still dancing at three weddings in total. In addition to the state cup and championship, the footballers from Jannik-Sinner-Dorf are also in the round of 2 of the XNUMXnd Amateur League Cup, where the Pusterers meet Klausen.

Top game takes place in Latsch

A long journey awaits St. Georgen, because the “Jergina” are guests of the top national league team Latsch - a whopping 130 kilometers separate the two locations. This is also the top game in the quarterfinals.

In addition, 1st Amateur League club Natz meets Landesliga club Ahrntal, while Olimpia Meran and Haslach face each other in a pure 1st Amateur League duel. It is already clear that at least one semi-finalist will come from the 1st amateur league. The quarter-finals will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 20 p.m. There is no return match.
