With four rounds to go, Partschins achieved a groundbreaking success in the state league title fight. One day after the 6-2 victory over pursuers Bruneck, the Vinschgers celebrated a 1-0 away win against relegation candidate Eppan. Thanks to midfielder Olaf Stark's golden goal in the 90th minute of the game, the lead over the closest pursuers Bruneck and Naturns is again four points with three games still to play.
Naturns is also finally back in the state league title fight. The Pixner team beat Ridnauntal at home 7-0 and celebrated their second success in a row. Matthias Bacher, Lukas Schöpf and Fabian Nischler played a key role in this, each contributing a brace.
That happened in the relegation battle
Meanwhile, Terlan and Salurn scored important points in the relegation battle. The Unterlandlers got a point shortly before the end in the duel with Voran Leifers. Terlan also showed morale and caught up twice against favorites Ahrntal. Teldra's engine has stalled in recent weeks. Stefan Pareiner & Co. have been without a win for four match days.
