Riffian Kuens achieved promotion to the national league with a win in the supplementary game against Nals (in the black jerseys).

Riffian Kuens does it like Genoa

Just one year after being relegated from the regional league, SV Riffian Kuens is back in the highest South Tyrolean football league. On Wednesday evening in Nals, the Blue-Whites secured the championship title in the 1st Amateur League and are following CFC Genoa, who celebrated direct promotion back to Serie A at the weekend.

With 3 game days to go, Riffian Kuens is now 10 points ahead of his first pursuer Schluderns and can therefore no longer be pushed out of first place. While the championship fight in the East group of the 1st Amateur League is still open, the promoted team in the West has already been determined.

Riffian Kuens was only relegated from the national league in the previous season after being allowed to stay up the year before due to the Corona cancellation. Now the Burggräfler are starting their second attempt in the highest provincial league. Simon Haller (2th) and Raphael Unterthurner (3th, 2th) scored the goals in the 36-49 win in Nals on Wednesday evening. Aaron Malleier (64th) and Felix Lintner (54th) scored for the Etschtaler.
