Sassuolo scores 22 goals in Vipiteno

Serie A club Sassuolo had its first opener in the training camp in South Tyrol on Saturday - and it was extremely goal-scoring.

Sassuolo celebrated a real shooting festival in the first test match of their pre-season and shot Real Vicenza's amateur kickers from the field 22-0.

In front of an impressive crowd at the sports field in Vipiteno, Nonstal striker Andrea Pinamonti scored a hat-trick to give the Serie A club a 10-0 half-time lead. In the second period, the later five-goal scorer Samuele Mulattieri, who was brought in from Inter, pushed the result even further.

Sassuolo will stay at the Hotel Almina in Jaufental for almost two weeks and complete his preparation program in Vipiteno. The team from Emilia-Romagna's program includes three more test matches, including the final duel with FC Südtirol on July 27th.
