Dramatic final phase

In the second half Ternana dominated the game, but the Umbrians hardly had any great chances. But when the FCS thought they were safe, the guests struck. Alfredo Bifulco got the ball after a deflected shot and had no trouble scoring the goal from a few meters (76th).
Now the game threatened to tip over and the FCS became nervous. And less than five minutes later, disaster seemed to befall the White and Reds. After a clumsy foul by Alessandro Fabbri on Bifulco, a penalty was rightly awarded. Daniele Vantaggiato stepped up and hit the ball on the post (82'). FCS keeper Daniel Offredi cheered as if he had won the championship. But just seconds later there was another penalty alarm in the FCS penalty area.
Luca Oneto and Fabian Tait, who played as a central defender in the final minutes, had Federico Giraudo in their grip. But this time the referee's whistle remained silent - luck for the FCS, who saved the victory over time.
FC Südtirol – Ternana 2-1

FC South Tyrol:
(3-5-2): Offredi; Ierardi, Casale (75.
