Taekwondo medals for South Tyrol

On February 10 this year, the National Cadet Olympic Taekwondo Championships took place, where the best red belts (Series B) from all over Italy competed in an exciting competition.

For all athletes born between 2012 and 2010, this is the most important competition at national level. The athletes from the South Tyrolean clubs showed impressive performances and returned home with medals.

Ilaria Russo from Taekwondo Brixen won the silver medal in the weight class up to 51 kg, while Lena Christoph from Taekwondo Südtirol-Eurotherm won the bronze medal in the weight class over 59 kg. Nicholas Pezzei, also from Taekwondo Südtirol-Eurotherm, secured the bronze medal in the over 65 kg weight class.
