Lando Norris shows off in Zandvoort

Max Verstappen was beaten by 23 thousandths of a second in the second free practice session at his home Grand Prix.

The pole-sitter and winner of the two editions of the Dutch Grand Prix after returning to the 1 Formula 2021 racing calendar took second place on Friday afternoon in Zandvoort. The Brit Lando Norris in the McLaren was faster than the Red Bull star. Alexander Albon took third place in front of a full crowd in the Williams.

Record world champion Lewis Hamilton came fourth in a Mercedes.
This Sunday (15.00 p.m./Sky), Verstappen can equal Sebastian Vettel's record - also in Red Bull - from 2013. The Heppenheim native, who ended his career at the end of last year, had achieved nine wins in a row.

Verstappen is currently at eight in a row. In the overall standings, he is 125 points ahead of his Mexican teammate Sergio Pérez.
