42. Motorcycle blessing was successfully completed

On Sunday, the Motoclub Neumarkt's traditional motorcycle blessing took place in Neumarkt for the 42st time.

The event organized by the Unterlandler traditional club was a huge success, with over 2.000 pilots from all over the region making their way to Neumarkt. “It’s always great to see that so many passionate motorcyclists are drawn to Neumarkt year after year, where we open the new season together. This year we can also look forward to a new record number of participants,” said Motoclub Neumarkt President Dietmar Eisenstecken.

FMI country president Marco Bolzonello also wished all athletes a successful competition season. “The motorcycle blessing is always a spectacle, I am very pleased to be able to welcome so many people from all over the country here. A compliment goes to the MC Neumarkt for their exemplary work.” Neumarkt’s mayor Karin Jost also showed her enthusiasm for motorsport: “This event is something very special. There are so many people here pursuing the same passion. I wish everyone a successful and accident-free 2024.”

In addition to Bolzonello and Jost as well as their deputy Giorgio Nones, Neumarkt's sports assessors were also present. The White Cross, the Carabinieri motorcyclists of the Arma provincial command and the Neumarkt village police also didn't miss the first highlight of the year in the lowlands. The blessing was carried out by Dean Gabriele Pedrotti. As usual, the FMI regional association was also represented with a stand in Neumarkt.
