Numerous South Tyrolean triumphs in Padua

The first of three motocross races for the Tri Veneto Championship took place in Montagnana. At the same time, this race was considered the fifth round of the regional championship.

Liam Pichler and Norbert Lantschner celebrated daily victories in the province of Padua. Pichler prevailed in the Junior 85 class, Lantschner was once again in a class of his own in the Open Master category. Lukas Messner from Brixen took second place in the Senior 85. Elia Fulco (Junior 85) and Moritz Flarer (Expert MX2) from Meran also made it onto the podium, each taking third place. However, Flarer's teammate Jakob Gampenrieder, who had to settle for fourth place in the Cadetti 65, narrowly missed the podium.

South Tyrol also had six regional champions: Lantschner, Fulco and Flarer were at the top of the winners' podium in their categories. Same as Maximilian Rabensteiner (Senior 85), Manuel Ploner (Challenge MX2) and Georg Falser (Fast MX2).

South Tyrol also impresses with the regional trophy

Last weekend Castellarano was the venue for the Junior Region Trophy in motocross. There was also a small selection from South Tyrol. A total of 190 pilots from 19 different regions were represented in Emilia Romagna. The five-man team from the province of Bolzano consisted of Jakob Gampenrieder (Cadetti 65), Elia Fulco and Liam Pichler (both Junior 85) as well as Lukas Messner (Senior 85) and Dominik Varotto (125 Junior).

Vehicle exhibition in Bolzano

On the occasion of National Historic Vehicle Day, the FMI State Committee and the Veteran Car Team recently organized a meeting for young and old on Waltherplatz in Bolzano. Stefano Arleoni, auditor of the historical FMI register, the two speakers Silvio Danieli and Roberto Bicciato as well as those responsible from the Vespa Club Bozen and the Veteran Car launched this great, extremely interesting event on Waltherplatz in Bozen.

All onlookers got their money's worth. Some extremely valuable and rare examples were on display, such as a military version of the Moto Guzzi GT17, a Moto Guzzi Alce Sildecar from 1944, a Moto Guzzi 500 GTV (road militia version) and a Bianchi MT 61 from the 60s. There were also various Vespa models on display, including a first version Vespa with the license plate “Bozen 1950”. What caught the eye, in addition to a Harley Davidson XLCR 1000 (1978), were several Moto Guzzi Super Alce (1947) and a Moto Guzzi that was transported by Richard Prossliner from St. Christina in Val Gardena to the Vittorio Veneto barracks.
