Strong exclamation point from Hannah Auchentaller

Most recently, Hannah Auchentaller was only traveling second class. The Puster woman now has a new World Cup chance at Holmenkollen in Oslo. On Friday, Auchentaller made a statement in the individual competition. Her teammate Lisa Vittozzi also has reason to be happy.

20th place in the individual on Friday in Oslo (NOR) is Auchentaller's best World Cup result this season. The Antholzer was around 17 seconds short of her best career placement (20th). Nevertheless, Auchentaller has underlined her strong form after recently winning the IBU Cup in Arber.

As expected, the best Azzurra in Oslo on Friday was Lisa Vittozzi. The Friulian made one mistake too many for the podium because Vittozzi was strong on the cross-country ski trail. As a result, she fought her way up to fourth place in the final, but it wasn't enough for more - which was probably bearable for Vittozzi.

Crystal for Vittozzi

Although world champion Vittozzi “only” came 4th in Oslo, there is plenty of reason to be happy. The little crystal ball for winning the individual World Cup can no longer be taken away from Vittozzi. It is her third overall.

Samuela Comola (26th), Michela Carrara (44th), Rebecca Passler (53rd) and Beatrice Trabucchi (54th) were also in action.

Home win for Tandrevold

The victory went to Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, who celebrated a home win with a lead of 28,8 seconds over the Swede Elvira Öberg. Tandrevold lives in Oslo. Third place went to Ida Lien, who is also Norwegian. Tandrevold ran away from the front right from the start, only in the first shooting a few competitors were able to keep up. It was exciting for the Finn Suvi Minkkinnen. The Scandinavian was on course for a podium for a long time before she made two mistakes in the last standing stage and ultimately finished in 3th place.
