Bobsleigh World Championships: Top 10 place for Baumgartner

For South Tyrolean Patrick Baumgartner, the Bobsleigh World Championships in Winterberg (GER) ended with a top 10 placement. Gold went to Germany.

There was a German triple triumph in the two-man bobsleigh at the World Championships in Winterberg on Sunday. Francesco Friedrich/Alexander Schüller secured the world championship title. Adam Ammour/Issam Ammour (silver) and Johannes Lochner/Georg Fleischhauer (bronze) came in close behind.

The South Tyrolean Patrick Baumgartner had nothing to do with the decision for the World Cup medal, but was at least able to achieve a top 10 place. Together with Robert Mircea he ended up in 8th place.
