High award for Carolina Kostner: The Val Gardena figure skating world champion was honored for her sporting successes by President Giorgio Napolitano on Friday at the prison police's annual celebration in Rome. Kostner has been a member of the prison police's sports group for years and has now been promoted to the rank of chief judicial sergeant.
