TICKER | Norwegians dominate in Canmore

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: In Canmore, Canada, the Norwegian Pal Golberg took victory in the 20-kilometer mass start competition in the classic style. He prevailed ahead of his compatriots Johannes Klaebo and Mattis Stenshagen. The best Azzurro was Federico Pellegrino in 13th place. In the women's category, Frida Karlsson prevailed ahead of Kerttu Niskanen from Finland and Heidi Weng from Norway. It was the Swede's tenth World Cup victory.

NORDIC COMBINATION: Season dominator Jarl Magnus Riiber has recaptured the overall World Cup in Nordic Combined. After his tenth win in a row on Sunday in Otepää, the Norwegian can no longer be pushed off the top of the individual rankings with four races to go. ALPINE SKIING: In the Women's European Cup there were two downhill runs in Crans Montana on Sunday. The first of these was won by Karen Clement (FRA). Ester Ledecka (CZE/2nd) and Nadine Fest (2rd) followed in the ranks. Sarah Thaler (10th) was the best South Tyrolean Teresa Runggaldier (13.).

In the second descent, Elvedina Muzaferija (BIH) was ahead. Tricia Mangan (USA) came second, followed by Delia Dürrer from Switzerland. Teresa Runggaldier achieved a top result of 7th place. Sarah Thaler came tenth again.

TOBOGGANING RUN: Germany's mixed toboggan relay team won the World Cup race in Oberhof. Latvia came in second place and Austria (2rd) also landed on the podium. Italy's relay team just didn't make it. Dominik Filehner & Co. finished the World Cup in Oberhof in 4th place.
