Ski jumping, men: The ski jumpers round off winter sports Sunday with their World Cup competition in Engelberg (Switzerland). Stefan Kraft, who was so strong this season, won ahead of his Austrian compatriot Jan Hörl and the German Pius Paschke. The best jumper from Italy was Alex Insam from Val Gardena, who was unable to maintain his 20th place from the first round, but was still able to celebrate his best result this winter in 25th place.

The best bobsledders in the world are guests in Igls, where a World Cup stage and the European Championships are held at the same time. Patrick Baumgartner from Palatinate took eleventh place on Sunday in the four-man bobsleigh with Eric Fantazzini, Robert Mircea and Lorenzo Bilotti; his time means ninth place in the European Championship rankings. Gold went to Francesco Friedrich with Candy Bauer, ALexander Schüller and Felix Strauf. Johannes Lochner's bobsleigh completed the German double victory, with Latvia taking third place.

Cross-country skiing, men: Johannes Høsflot Klæbo also won the 10-kilometer race in the classic technique in Trondheim. The Norwegian celebrated a hat trick in the 2025 World Cup venue. On Friday he won the sprint, and the next day he won the skiathlon. In the 10-kilometer race he relegated his compatriots Pål Goldberg (+ 17,7 seconds) and Henrik Dønnstad (+ 21,1) to places 2 and 3. A total of six Norwegians ended up in the top 7. The best Italian was Davide Graz from Predazzo in 17th place.

Cross-country skiing, women: Victoria Carl celebrated her first World Cup victory in Trondheim. On Sunday, the 28-year-old won the 10-kilometer race in the classic technique, well ahead of the American Rosie Brennan (+ 19,6 seconds). The Swede Ebba Andersson came third (+ 21,6). Meanwhile, Caterina Ganz celebrated a respectable success in 15th place.

Alpine skiing, men: At the European Cup slalom in Fassa Valley, South Tyrol's aces missed out on a position in the top 30. When Frenchman Steven Amiez won, no local athlete made it into the second round. World Cup experienced Linus Strasser from Germany came second (+0,26). Fabian Ax Swartz (Sweden) completed the podium, 1,24 seconds behind. Olympic champion Clement Noel (France) came fourth, followed immediately by the best Italian, Tommaso Sala.
