Eppan qualifies for the Masterround

The Pirates from Eppan have been playing big in the last few weeks and won for the fifth time in a row on Saturday. Kaltern and Toblach, however, suffered narrow defeats.

What an outstanding performance that was pirates? The South Tyroleans left no stone unturned against the second-placed team from Pergine and deservedly won 7:3. After an even start in the third, the score went into the first half with the score at 1:1. After that, the Überetscher ignited the turbo.

In the first 130 seconds, the guests went ahead 4-1 and decided the game within 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Although the hosts were able to shorten the score towards the end of the second third, this did not change Eppan's victory. In the final section, Matthias Pardatscher, Martin Graf and Stefano Piechenstein increased the result and secured a clear victory and qualification for the playoffs.

Kaltern and Dobbiaco lose by a whisker

The pike were already definitely qualified for this Kaltern. Accordingly, the South Tyroleans started the game relaxed. Although the Überetscher were already leading 2-0, the hosts gave it away and suffered a defeat against Como after a penalty shootout. However, the Hechte miss out on an early victory in the regular season. For this, the people of Kaltern need another point.

Auch Toblach had to admit defeat after two wins in a row. The “Pustra” took the lead early on, but the hosts from Feltre equalized in the first third. In the middle section, the team from the province of Belluno initially took a 3-1 lead, but Toblach reduced the lead to 3-2 through Lukas Tauber. Despite a great fight in the last part of the game, Daniel Eruzione decided the game with the goal to make it 4-2. Patrick Rizzo was only able to make a cosmetic result in the last minute.
