Two Czechs make Unterland dream of the title

In the Unterland you can now definitely dream of the title! The Cavs clearly defeated their arch rivals from Fiemme Valley 5-1 at the end of a hard-fought fifth final game. Two cracks from Eastern Europe were crucial.

First and foremost, Filip Kokoska put his stamp on the game. The 24-year-old exceptional talent from the west of the Czech Republic was involved in four of five goals. Compatriot Vojtech Dobias used two of his assists.

It was a Czech on Fiemme's side who scored the first goal of the evening: Jaroslav Moucka made it 1-0 - much to the delight of the almost 400 fans who had traveled to Neumarkt from the neighboring Fiemme Valley. After the first third break, the Cavs, who had been disappointing until then, picked themselves up. In the 23rd minute, Dobias equalized with a one-timer. After the second break, the 21-year-old winger was there again after a cross pass from Kokoska.

After Unterlandler's first opening goal there wasn't much to see of Fiemme. Instead, Kokoska continued to drive up the result. First he prepared Florian Wieser's 3-1, before he scored the fourth goal himself for the first time. Moritz Kaufmann set the final point with the goal to make it 5-1.

With this victory, the Cavaliers earned their first match puck in this nerve-wracking final series. If they win in Cavalese on Thursday (20.30:7 p.m.), they can no longer take away their premier title in the IHL. A possible Game XNUMX would take place on Holy Saturday in Neumarkt. Two Czechs make Unterland dream of the title

The Unterland Cavaliers are still one step away from winning the first championship title in their club history. On Tuesday evening they celebrated their third final victory against Fiemme in the WürthArena in Neumarkt, which was filled with more than 1100 fans.
