The head-to-head duel between Neumarkt and Vipiteno continues

In the Qualification Round - Group B there has been a new leader since Saturday evening, namely HC Neumarkt. The “Wildgänse” shot the second representative of the KAC 7-0 off the ice in the Würth Arena at home and thus overtook the Zeller Eisbären in the table. In the shutout victory over Klagenfurt, six Neumarkt players were on the scoresheet - Ondrej Nedved was the only crack to score twice.

WSV Vipiteno remains hot on the heels of the Unterlanders. The Broncos beat Kitzbühel 5-1 in front of their own team and are one point behind the Neumarkt team in second place. Felicetti, Verreault-Paul, Bahensky, Mair and Mantinger scored against the North Tyroleans on the “wild horses” side.

Master round There was also a change in the lead in the Master Round: Because the Rittner Buam lost for the third time in the fourth duel of the season against Jesenice earlier in the evening (this time the reigning Italian champions lost 1:2), HC Pustertal had the opportunity to to overtake Lehtonen's troops with a “threesome”. The “Wolves” made ideal use of this opportunity and moved to the top of the table thanks to a 5-2 home win over Feldkirch. In front of more than 1000 spectators in Bruneck's Rienzstadion, Andergassen, Bona, Obermair, Thum and Oberrauch shot the HCP to victory.
