As a result, he was signed by the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) in the final spurt of the season. On Saturday against the Unterland Cavaliers, Ritchie even shone with 6 scorers. The Eisbären have been playing in the IHL for two years now. The initial euphoria in Alta Pusteria has long since faded. This is probably also because the club lacks financial resources. We only spoke about this with captain Patrick Rizzo in the summer. The current situation will be the most difficult for him: With 3 points and 0 wins from 13 games, Toblach is in last place. Last year the Icebears still qualified for the playoff quarter-finals. At that time, Hector Majul (19 scorer points this year) still had Capannelli at his side. However, the Mexican cannot carry the offensive alone. The change of coach at the beginning of November (Roman Vanek replaced Ivo Machacka) has not been successful so far.
