At the U18 Ice Hockey World Cup in Division B, Italy suffered its second defeat in the third game on Wednesday.

The Azzurrini lost 3-4 against Slovenia. After the overtime defeat against Lithuania, it is the second defeat in the third World Cup match for the U18 Blue Team. Slovenia led 2-0 after the opening third after Jan Golicic (9th) and Christian Petrovic (10th) scored a double.
