Convincing victory for the Foxes against the Ravensburg Towerstars

As usual, the Foxes started extremely aggressively and were rewarded after just four minutes. HCB Südtirol Alperia's power play had just ended when Egger laid the puck on for Poulsen, who scored the deserved 1-0 with a powerful shot. Three minutes later, a wonderful flying combination between Bernard and Poulsen with the final shot from Schweitzer was unsuccessful, the visitors' goalkeeper had something against it. After ten minutes, Ravensburger equalized with a nice combination from the first line: Lapsansky was the goalscorer. The guests then had three advantage situations at their disposal, the Foxes held up very well and when a Ravensburger got through, Melichercik was always there.

The beginning of the middle section also belonged to the Foxes. Oleksuk, Tomassoni and Carlisle tested the visitors' goalie. After five minutes, the home team took the lead again in the power play: Petan completed a combination between Monardo and Angelidis to make it 2-1. Bozen followed up, Bernard set up for Schweitzer, but his shot went just wide. Then came the big time for Chris DeSousa, who first performed a solo that was worth seeing, then delighted the audience with a show until he had to leave the ice injured after another great performance. In general, the game became very rough towards the end of the third and Petan also had to leave the ice injured after a brutal foul by Supis. The Ravensburger rightly received a penalty of 5 plus 20 minutes. After 14 minutes, the guests scored the equalizer through Pfaffengut. Two minutes before the end, the audience went wild: Monardo fought for the goal when he was outnumbered and laid it up for Angelidis, who gave Langmann no chance.

In Bozen, both injured players from the middle third (Petan and DeSousa) returned to the ice. The Foxes once again used the power play and Anton Bernard completed the action between Clark and Gartner to score the fourth goal for the Foxes. After Melichercik fended off a sharp shot from Keller, the Bolzano defense played around carelessly and Kolb took the opportunity to score again. Eight minutes before the end of the game the decision was made: Luca Frigo scored a strange goal, but it was actually an own goal for the guests. The Foxes left no stone unturned and easily managed to keep their lead.
