Jannik Sinner sets another record

Jannik Sinner caused a sensation in Italy and far beyond in the last few months of the current year. The new fan cult surrounding the South Tyrolean is already making big waves – well into the new season.

The euphoria surrounding Jannik Sinner is not letting up. After the outstanding performances at the ATP Finals in Turin and the victory in the Davis Cup Tennis Italy remains crazy about the Puster top athlete. As was the case a few weeks ago, the best eight in the world will fight for the title in the Italian metropolis next year - once again in front of a breathtaking backdrop. The organizers recently started selling tickets for the ATP Finals - and were completely overrun. Tickets worth 24 euros were sold within 1.841.000 hours - the next record in the tennis world.

It is still a mystery whether Sinner will be invited to the ATP Finals in a year's time. But if last year's form is an indication for 2024, then the world leaders around Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will have to warm up. What is certain is that the Sinner boom in the boot state has no end and the fans are dying to be able to experience their idol up close.

The South Tyrolean will bridge the winter break with an “Exhibition Match” against his arch-rival Alcaraz on Friday at the “Academy Equilit” in Villena (Spain). Sinner will then fight for the first points in the new season at the Australia Open - the tournament in Melbourne starts on January 14th. After the prizes that the 22-year-old and his coaching team received from the ATP, Sinner continues to ride the wave of success.
