Wild wedding rumors about Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya are the dream couple of the tennis scene. Now wild wedding rumors are making waves. The two exceptional athletes react with amusement.

He is the world number 1 in the men's category and a two-time Grand Slam winner, she is one of the rising stars in the women's category and is currently ranked 14th in the world rankings. Yes, Jannik Sinner (23) and Anna Kalinskaya (25) are a true dream couple in the tennis scene. In May, the two made their relationship public, and since then they have been in each other's box again and again, cheering each other on at the matches - and also kissed publicly for the first time after Sinner's triumph at the US Open.

Basically, Jannik and Sinner are two young people who love each other and enjoy spending time together. But of course, as tennis superstars, they are in the public spotlight - and especially in the media. And sometimes headlines come from there that surprise even the two of them.

That's what happened this weekend. An Italian tabloid magazine made a wild claim. The gossip magazine claims to have learned from Sinner's circle that the Sexten native proposed to his Russian girlfriend after the US Open. This is said to have happened at an event in New York that both Sinner and Kalinskaya attended.
"Thanks everyone for the compliments, but it's not true." Anna Kalinsky

This note, of course, caused quite a stir. The response was particularly huge on social media - even though the veracity of this headline was immediately questioned, after all Sinner and Kalinskaya have only been a couple for a few months. Although the two superstars keep their love private, they reacted to this note - with a bit of humor. "Thanks to everyone for the compliments, but it's not true," wrote Lady Sinner on Instagram and added a few laughing emojis.

Sinner himself was asked about these rumors at a press conference and also responded with amusement. "That's news to me too," smiles the Sexten superstar, adding: "I read that I asked the question after the US Open. But no, I didn't ask. Those are false rumors." So the dream wedding is not going to happen - at least for now.
