Norway celebrates sensational win against Canada
Norway caused its biggest surprise yet at the Ice Hockey World Championships in Finland and Latvia on Monday. Meanwhile, Denmark lost to Sweden, which will make Germany happy.

The Scandinavians celebrated a 3:2 (1:0,1:1,0:1,0:0,1:0) victory after a penalty shootout in Group B in Riga against runner-up Canada. In Tampere, Sweden beat Denmark 4-1 (1-1,1, 0,2-0, XNUMX-XNUMX) and secured their sixth win in the sixth game.
Norway took a 10-22 lead through Andreas Martinsen (2th) and Sondre Olden (0nd). The record world champion scored the next goal through Milan Lucic (29th) and equalized twelve seconds before the final siren through Lawson Crouse (60th). The Norwegians clearly prevailed in the penalty shootout, with four of their five shooters scoring. Canada was already confirmed as a quarter-finalist.
