The Oilers engine sputters again

The Edmonton Oilers' winning streak in the NHL seems like a long time ago. Leon Draisaitl's team lost 1:5 against the Florida Panthers.

Leon Draisaitl lost for the second time in a row with the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL. The Oilers lost 1-5 against the Florida Panthers on Saturday evening (local time). Before the 4:7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday, the team from Canada had won eight times in a row and had achieved a balanced record after the miserable start to the season.

Minnesota wins in penalty shootout

Minnesota's NHL home game against Vancouver on Saturday was decided by a penalty shootout. Thanks to a try converted by Mats Zuccarello, the Wild prevailed 2-1 against the much better placed Canadians. Vorarlberg's Marco Rossi, who recently celebrated his tenth goal of the season, played a comparatively inconspicuous game.
