Ottawa and Detroit are unstoppable

The Detroit Red Wings and the Ottawa Senators got off to a brilliant start to the season in the NHL. For a superstar, however, things are anything but smooth.

The Ottawa Senators clinched their third win of the season in their fourth game on Wednesday evening (local time). In the duel between the capital city teams, the Senators won 6-1 against the Washington Capitals. Tim Stützle played a major role in the victory, preparing the 2:0, 5:1 and 6:1 and now has six scorer points in four games. Meanwhile, Alexander Ovechkin is still waiting for his first goal of the season. Even more: The Russian didn't fire a single shot for the second game in a row - this has never happened to the 38-year-old in his entire career.

Things continue to go well for the Detroit Red Wings. The 6-3 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins was also the third win in the fourth game. Dylan Larkin impressed with three assists. “It’s only three wins, it’s still early in the season,” he said. “It’s not perfect yet, but we’re off to a good start and it’s pretty exciting especially in Detroit.”
