On Saturday, FC Kaiserslautern arrived at the training camp in Mals, and since Sunday the professional footballers have been sweating under the Vinschgau sky.

After the fairytale run into the DFB Cup final, things have gone quiet for the traditional club. Old coach Friedhelm Funkel has said goodbye and Markus Anfang has taken over. The former Bremen coach started his first training camp with the "Red Devils" on Saturday.

The club from the 8nd Bundesliga will be based in the Bio-Hotel Panorama for a total of 2 days. As things stand, there will be no friendly match in Mals. However, things could change in the coming days. What is certain, however, is that Kaiserslautern will play a friendly match against the Azerbaijani champions FK Qarabag Agdam in Imst on July 9th.
