Made his starting eleven debut for FC Südtirol: Daouda Peeters.

Bisoli is overjoyed – and not just because of the FCS threesome

FC Südtirol returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 1-0 win at Cremonese. After the game, FCS coach Pierpaolo Bisoli even became emotional.

“Today is a great day,” said Bisoli at the start of the PK after the victory in Cremona. Bisoli was not only overjoyed because of that, but also because his son Dimitri Brescia scored in the 1-0 win at Ternana. “We will celebrate this together. I know what Brescia means to my son. He would have even stayed in Serie C. I’m overjoyed that he scored a nice goal.”

In any case, Bisoli was beaming from ear to ear. The FCS coach was relieved: “I have to compliment each of my players today. Raphael Kofler also had it during his short stint (almost 10 minutes Note d. Red.) very well done.” All the substitutes were convincing. Also returning Daniele Casiraghi and Andrea Cisco, who initiated the winning goal.

Old companions: Dietmar Pfeifer, Hannes Fink, ex-FCS coach Giovanni Stroppa and sports director Paolo Bravo.

But without a doubt Douda Peeters wrote the most beautiful story on Saturday. The Juventus loanee has been hit by injuries at FCS so far and impressed in his starting eleven debut on Saturday - alongside Fabian Tait in midfield. “Peeters did very well. He showed why he is under contract with Juventus. You could see the joy in his eyes. He has found the joy of football again. These are the really beautiful stories that this sport writes.” Here is the emotional story of the 24-year-old Belgian.

Finally, Bisoli praised the FCS's young players in particular: “Ciervo has Serie A facilities (the 21-year-old winger was loaned from Sassuolo; Note d. Red.). Giorgini (21) also has a lot of potential. But for me the player with the greatest potential for the future is Kofler (18).”
