The game plan is here: FC Südtirol starts with a bang

FCS fans can now plan the second season in the second highest Italian league! Serie B has announced the schedule and the complete calendar for the 2023/24 season.

The fixtures for the upcoming Serie B season were ceremoniously announced on Tuesday evening at a gala event at Villa Olmo on the shores of Lake Como. And the FCS officials were also fascinated by the first encounters in the new sporting year.

It starts for the South Tyroleans on August 19th (exact game date is still to be determined) with a real home hit: With Spezia Calcio, which is currently preparing for the season in Val Gardena, A well-known Serie A relegated team is coming to the Drusus Stadium for the start. A week later, the next highlight is on the program for the white and red fans, namely the away game on Lake Garda against second division newcomer Feralpisalò.

It is still unclear who the FCS will face in the second home game on the last weekend in August. The Bisoli team was assigned the vacant 20th Serie B starter on the third matchday. It is unclear whether this is the currently excluded Reggina or one of the successors Brescia, Perugia or Foggia.

Samp is coming in October

However, it is already clear when the preliminary highlight of the FCS season will take place: On October 28th, the former Italian champion, cup champion, Supercup winner and European Cup winner UC Sampdoria will be visiting Bolzano. A week earlier, FC Südtirol traveled to Cremona to face the third relegated team from the first division. There will be a reunion with this year's playoff semi-final opponent Bari on December 9th in Apulia.
