a Series D

Berat Jashari is new at Virtus Bozen.

Virtus Bozen is improving in defense

Virtus Bozen has strengthened itself in the fight to stay in Serie D with a young defender.

The mission to stay in the league will be very complicated for Virtus Bozen in the spring. In recent weeks the board has tried to strengthen coach Alfredo Sebastiani's team. The returnee Adrian Osorio and the Slovenian Dino Stancic (both Clivense) came for the storm.

A defender has now been brought in, Berat Jashari. The 18-year-old from Trentino was trained at Chievo and Trento and then played in Switzerland. In the autumn, Jashari was loaned out to Sant'Angelo (Serie D), but was unable to settle there. Now the full-back, who has a North Macedonian passport and was a U17 national player, has a chance in South Tyrol.
