Transfer splitter | The calm before the storm

There have already been some great hits presented on the international transfer market this summer. There has been a bit of calm in the market in the last few days. Here is an overview.

The summer transfer window is still open until August 31st. Then we will know what will happen to Mbappé, Kane & Co. Here we summarize the most important changes of the past few days: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left Chelsea on a free transfer and is moving back to France to Olympique Marseille. The 34-year-old from Gabon has played in Ligue 1 for a long time in the past - for example for Saint-Etienne. Samuel Umtiti, who was on loan at Lecce last season, has finally left FC Barcelona. The 2018 world champion defender is going home to OSC Lille.


Ex-FCS player Emmanuel gyasi has left relegated Spezia. The 29-year-old will stay in Serie A and go to Empoli. Giuliano Simeone, son of coach Diego, leaves Atletico Madrid on loan. The 20-year-old striker is on loan to Deportigo Alaves (Spain 1st League). midfield player Riccardo Sapponara moves from Fiorentina to Hellas Verona. goalkeeper André Onana goes from Inter to Manchester United for 53 million euros. There the Cameroonian meets his former Ajax coach Erik ten Haag.

Juventus lends right-back talent Thomas Barbieri to Serie B to Pisa. The German left-back Marcel Halstenberg leaves cup winner RB Leipzig to go home to Hannover 96 (2nd league). In addition to Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Milan has presented another Tonali successor: Tijani Reijnders comes to the Rossoneri from AZ Alkmaar for just under 20 million euros. The 24-year-old Dutchman is also at home in central midfield.
