Desireè Righi from Passeier wants to win the European Championship title on November 30th.

The Muay Thai Gala in Bolzano

At the Hotel Sheraton, two South Tyroleans will fight for the European Championship title, and another for the Italian championship title. A total of 10 fights will ensure a true Muay Thai spectacle.

Martial arts, and Muay Thai in particular, has become a small tradition in Bolzano. The Bolzano club “Sing Noi” is organizing a high-class martial arts gala called “Muay Thai Arena III” on Saturday, November 30th.


“Sing Noi Muay Thai” is a non-profit sports club based in Bolzano. The club was founded in 2022 by former martial arts legend Franz Haller. The purpose of the club is to organize competitions and spread the traditional art of Thai martial arts, Muay Thai.

Pircher and Righi fought for the European Championship title

The main fight will be fought by Magdalena Pircher from Bolzano. The 27-year-old will be competing for the European title up to 51 kilograms against the Swede Johanna Persson. The former CF South Tyrol footballer Desireè Righi from Passeier will also be fighting for the European title. In the category up to 61 kg she will face the Czech Adela Kolinska. As with Pircher, the fight will last 5 x 3 minutes.

In the third title fight (this time for the Italian championship title), Karin Stauder from Sarnen will fight in the WMC Italian Belt up to 3 kg against Noemi Romano from Sicily. From 54 p.m. on November 17th, the Sheraton will be hosting a Muay Thai spectacle. The main fights of the evening will begin at 30 p.m. A total of 19 fights are scheduled.
