In the qualification in the morning, Visintin didn't quite get up to speed in 20th place, but he was wide awake in the final rounds: second place in the round of 2 and in the quarter-finals. In the semifinals against eventual winner Eliot Grondin (CAN) and Alessandro Hämmerle (AUT), who came second in the final, Visintin didn't get off to a good start and was eliminated in fourth place.
