After trailing 0-21: Dallas stages an incredible comeback against NFL champion

With a furious comeback, the Dallas Cowboys turned the tables on their rivals and defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the NFL.

The team led by quarterback Dak Prescott rallied from a 0-21 deficit to win 24-21 in the final seconds and, with five wins this season, remains in contention for the coveted NFC East playoffs. The Eagles remain top of the standings with an 8-3 record.

Dallas trailed 0-21 in the second quarter against the reigning NFL champions, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts. It looked like the Eagles were headed for their fifth straight win. Then Cowboys star Prescott led his team back into the game. The game-winning fourth quarter, a festival of errors, was decided just seconds before the end by a successful field goal from kicker Brandon Aubrey.

"In a game like this, it's all about trust in the team and unity," said Prescott after the successful comeback, thinking of his late former teammate Marshawn Kneeland, who apparently took his own life in early November. "This victory was also for him," Prescott emphasized.

LA Rams extend winning streak

The Los Angeles Rams (9-2) are on a winning streak in the NFC West, securing their sixth consecutive victory and solidifying their position at the top of the standings with a 34-7 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay, the 2021 Super Bowl champions with Tom Brady, still lead the NFC South, but their third straight loss saw them squander a better position.

The Kansas City Chiefs rallied from a 9-20 deficit to defeat the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 in overtime, keeping their playoff hopes alive. A loss would have significantly diminished their chances of advancing. However, with a 6-5 record, Patrick Mahomes and his teammates currently sit in third place behind the Denver Broncos (9-2) and the Los Angeles Chargers (7-4).
