Accordingly, the first-round game, which is scheduled for Monday evening (local time), would be moved to Glendale, Arizona, almost 600 kilometers away. This is where the Arizona Cardinals normally play their home games.
The Rams players had a day off on Wednesday and will resume training on Thursday. According to the team's statement, no member of the squad or staff is currently affected by the fires. The Rams' headquarters are in Woodland Hills, about 20 kilometers north of Pacific Palisades, where the fires are raging particularly fiercely.
Chargers adjust training routines
The Los Angeles Chargers also have to react to the situation. Although the team will play an away game against the Houston Texans in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday (local time), their preparations will be affected by the fires. The Chargers adjusted their training schedule on Wednesday to avoid the players spending too much time outside. The Chargers have their training center in El Segundo, right next to Los Angeles Airport, which is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Pacific Palisades.
