NFL star punches opposing fan

Pittsburgh Steelers improved their NFL playoff chances with a 29-24 victory over Detroit Lions, but Pittsburgh's pass receiver DK Metcalf stood out negatively on the sidelines.

During the second quarter, Metcalf became physically aggressive towards an opposing fan. Video footage shows the Steelers player speaking to a spectator wearing a blue wig at the edge of the stands before striking the fan in the face with his right hand.

"I heard about the incident, but I didn't see any of it. I also haven't had the opportunity to speak with DK yet, so I don't want to comment on it," said Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin after the game.

The NFL has not yet commented on Metcalf's action, so it remains to be seen whether the Steelers receiver will face a penalty.
