Vikings also lose against Rams

After a perfect start to the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings have lost for a second time in a row and suffered a setback in the fight for division victory.

The Vikings lost 20:30 against the Los Angeles Rams. The week before, the Vikings suffered their first defeat against division rivals Detroit Lions and have now slipped to second place in the NFC North. The Lions will play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, who have only won one of six games so far, and can consolidate their first place.

The Rams, however, returned to the fight for the playoffs with their second win in a row and now have three wins and four losses. The Seattle Seahawks are at the top of the NFC West with four wins and three losses. The Rams and the Seahawks will play against each other next week. Before that, Seattle will face the strong Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The division winners are each guaranteed a place in the playoffs.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford impressed against the Vikings with four touchdown passes for Los Angeles. An error by the referees, who overlooked a foul on Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold two minutes before the end, sealed the Rams' victory.
