The Italian Elite Olympic Distance Triathlon Championships took place on Saturday in Alba Adriatica in the province of Teramo.

Lena Göller of the Kaltern Triathlon Sports Club, a member of the Italian elite, finished the race after a 1,5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike ride, and 10-kilometer run, placing 21st overall and eighth in the U23 category. She finished in 2:05:38, thus becoming the top South Tyrolean in the rankings. Aisa Mercatelli was crowned the new Italian champion with a time of 1:24:10.
