These strong women are involved in Giannelli's rise

One could say it all began with his sister Martina (now 33), who is four years older than him. As a child and teenager, she played volleyball for SC Neugries in Serie C. Simone, then eleven years old, who played soccer for FC Bozen 96, played tennis with his father, and also skied for Libertas Bozen, occasionally dropped by training.
