Eckl on the road to success with Conegliano

Imoco Conegliano is considered the best club team in women's volleyball. This season, the players coached by Daniele Santarelli and middle blocker Katja Eckl from Bolzano have only celebrated victories. They are currently also competing at the Club World Championship in China.

The Club World Cup is currently taking place in Hangzhou, near Shanghai. Conegliano won the three group matches against Dentil Praia (Brazil), Ninh Binh (Vietnam) and Kawasaki 3-3, mostly easily. This meant that they won the group.

Eckl has only made a brief appearance for Conegliano's star ensemble in China. The semi-finals of the Club World Cup will take place on Saturday at 12.30 p.m. (live on Dazn). It will be the Italian hit Conegliano against Vero Volley Milan (Raphaela Folie's former team).

On Sunday, Conegliano (again at 12.30 p.m., live on Dazn) would like to win the Club World Cup and thus capture the first important title of the season. The Italian Cup, Italian Championship and Champions League should then follow in spring 2025.
