The Raiffeisen Beach Cup in Val Gardena

San Ciascian in Val Badia hosted an intense beach volleyball weekend. Thanks to the organizational efforts of US La Ila, numerous fans from across the province gathered to participate in the highest stage of the course at an altitude of 1600 meters.

On Saturday, 25 pairs competed in the men's and women's categories, while Sunday was all about the young talent, with no fewer than 47 women's teams in the U14 and U16 categories.

The men's final offered entertainment and superb technical performances. The protagonists included Hanni Theo, an athlete with multiple appearances on the Italian national beach volleyball team, and Berger Martin, known for his experience with Macerata Volleyball (A2). Seeber Peter and Hanni Theo took the win, defeating the duo of Seeber Isaak and Berger Martin in straight sets (23:21, 21:10). Third place went to Platzer Andreas and Coran Luca, who won the final against Berger Thomas and Blasbichler Simon (21:19, 21:18).

In the women's competition, first place went to Lüfter Ines and Weithaler Lea, who defeated Burgmann Anja and Steger Victoria with a clear 2-0 (21:19, 21:12). The podium was completed by local athletes Irsara Lena and Valentini Nadine, who prevailed against Ebner Katja and Montermini Francesca (21:13, 21:09).

On Sunday, the spotlight was on the young athletes in the U14 and U16 categories, who brought their enthusiasm and talent to life on the fields, ensuring a day full of excitement and sport. The U16 category won the competition with Irsara Lena and Rudiferia Sofia, while Kirchler Nina and Steger Olivia took first place in the U14 category.
