Titleless in Milan: Folie loses Champions League final

With Conegliano, Raphaela Folie had won everything there was to win. Two years ago he moved to Milan (Monza). With her new club, Folie is still waiting for her premiere title. On Sunday she and Vero Volley Milano lost the Champions League final 2-3 in a tiebreak against her former club Conegliano in Antalya.
Conegliano clearly won the first set 25:14. Folie & Co. then struck back (23:25). The third and fourth rounds each ended with 25:19 – first for Conegliano then for Milan. In the tiebreak, Conegliano clearly won 15:9. A bitter defeat not only for Folie, but also for teammate Paola Egonu, who had also played for Pantere for a long time.
Martin Berger celebrates with Trent
For men, Itas Trent is on the European throne for the first time in 13 years. Simone Giannelli from Bolzano was also there in the final defeats in 2021 and 2022.
