Bolzano defeats Mals and takes bronze

This weekend the Scudetto-Scudetto took place at PalaBadminton, the association's headquarters in Milan. This resulted in a duel between South Tyrol's two flagship clubs.

The best 4 teams of the season qualified for the Final Four, in the following order: BC Milano, Matex Marabadminton from Cagliari, SSV Bozen, ASV Mals.

On the first day of the semi-finals, the following teams faced off in parallel: BC Milano against ASV Mals, which the home team finished with a 3-0 win, while the Sardinians from Matex Marabadminton defeated the Bolzano team 3-1.

On Sunday the South Tyrolean teams met in the “small final” for third place. In this derby, the state capital team managed to defeat the Vinschgers 3-3. The decisive factor for bronze was the very last duel in which the Bolzano team (consisting of David Salutt and Iben Bergstein) brought the ASV Mals duo (Auditya Alpha Hidayat and Judith Mair) to their knees with the partial results of 2:21, 19:23.
